I’m Candace Morris, wedding photographer and storyteller behind Sixteen Seventeen Photography. Since starting my business in 2021, weddings have been my greatest passion, and I’ve had the honor of documenting 30+ celebrations. My work is rooted in a love for art and honest storytelling, creating images that feel like heirlooms, filled with warmth, beauty, and meaning.
Every couple’s story genuinely matters to me, and I’m not afraid to admit I’m often crying behind the camera on wedding days because I feel so much joy for my couples and the love I’m witnessing. And when the day feels a little chaotic (because weddings can!), I’m there as your steady hand, gently guiding when you need it, staying calm, and making sure you never feel alone in it.
